Lena Zavaroni (4 June 1963 – 1 October 1999) was a Scottish singer and television performer. At the age of ten, she gained fame with her appearance on the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks and her subsequent number one album, Ma! (He's Making Eyes at Me).
Early Life and Career:
- Born in Rothesay, Isle of Bute, Scotland, she was raised in a musical family. Her father owned a fish and chip shop and her mother sang in a band.
